What would you guys/gals choose? Here’s the catch, all 3 are automatic since 2 are auto only in their current configurations.
Audi S3
Buick Regal GS AWD (auto only)
Volvo S60 T6 R-Design (auto only)

DD the Volvo, track the Audi, burn the Buick
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:09 |

DD: Volvo because of its seats
Track: Audi because it is the smallest and most agile
Burn: Buick, I have nothing against it. I like its rivals more though.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:09 |

DD: Volvo
Track: Audi
Burn: Buick
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:11 |

DD: S60, because I bet it’s comfy + fast.
Track: Buick, because it would be ridiculous.
Burn: The S3, because it’s handsome but way too small for me. ‘Murica

Volvo seats are pretty damn nice

DD the Volvo
Track the Audi
Burn the Buick
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:13 |

Has Volvo seats so 100% can say it’s comfy. Not sure how quick it actually is though. Buick would be ridiculous on a track haha it does have pretty good handling though
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:14 |

As a Lexus fanboy it is my responsibility to say to burn all of them and DD and track this.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:15 |

Depends on if it’s the IS250 or 350. I heard a certain group of journalists say the 250 is a failure of a sports sedan.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:15 |
|
I want to try ones so bad!
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:15 |

DD Volvo
Track Audi
Burn Buick
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:16 |
|
Of course it’s a 350.
But don’t believe the journalists, they’re just mad that Lexus hasn’t dropped in a turbo-4 for “better acceleration and fuel economy” in the 250. The 250 is heaps fun.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:16 |

I’ve sat in the S60, some of the most supportive seats I’ve seen!
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:17 |

No love for the Buick D:
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:18 |
|
It’s totally outclassed. The Volvo has the better interior, while the Audi will be faster.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:21 |
|
DD and Track S3.
Burn the other two.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:26 |
|
Burn them all!
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:28 |
|
To be fair the 250 is much slower than its rivals. Not saying it’s not just as fun but it is slower.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:28 |
|
It’s also probably the cheapest, even with the Audi being smaller.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:29 |
|
Cheater! I’m telling mom you're not playing fair.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:32 |
|
Haha sorry
I just can’t drive any of those cars no matter how comfy or reliable they may be
Wayyyyyy too boring
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:32 |
|
It’s by far the cheapest, still, wouldn’t want one if I had to choose between the 3.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:34 |

DD and Track the Buick.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:35 |

DD Audi, Track Buick, Burn Volvo
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:36 |
|
You’re crazy!
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:38 |
|
No. People just have a stick up their ass about the brand. It really is a good car.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:43 |
|
It really is a good car, I just would DD the Volvo because it’s more comfortable. Guaranteed the Regal GS is more sports car than the S60 is.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:45 |
|
Honestly I’d totally DD the Buick too, they look great IRL if the paint is an interesting color
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:45 |
|
Fair enough
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:47 |
|
They look really good in that one metallic red you can get, especially the GS model with 20’s!
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:49 |
|
Does it have to be automatic?
The Audi S3 is available here in 2.0 TFSi manual,
The Vauxhall Insignia VXR Supersport 2.8i V6 Turbo 4x4/ Buick Regal GS in manual,
The Volvo S60 R-Design Lux in 190bhp diesel, in manual.
I think I’d go for the Vauxhall/Buick. I don’t want a diesel because I don’t do long journeys and the Audis are turning into the BMW alternative and popping up everywhere. Especially the A3 and A4 s.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:54 |
|
I made it automatic only on purpose haha! We get the Regal GS in manual but it’s FWD only, the AWD has to have the auto. I think the Volvo is auto only here as well.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:58 |
|
Oh, okay. I’d never have an auto so none of them I guess. Larger engines of some manufacturers are auto only these days. Which is a shame.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:58 |
|
DD Volvo, Track Audi, and keep the Buick around because it’s one of their better products to be honest.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:03 |
|
It’s a really good car, I think the Buick badge and lack of advertisement is why no one considers it. It has great handling and is pretty peppy with that 2.0T engine.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:03 |
|
DD: Volvo - comfy
Track: Buick - manual trans
Burn: Audi - but I’d cry a bit on the inside
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:05 |
|
Here in North America it’s becoming very rare to find manuals in basic everyday cars. Different story over in Europe though.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:06 |
|
DD: Audi
Track: Volvo - I’d choose the Audi for both, but I wanna DD it more
Burn: Buick - because FWD.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:19 |

Manuals thankfully are still the norm but even 2.0 litre vehicles are becoming auto only.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:19 |
|
Don’t forget that the Regal has an AWD option. Not that your opinion is wrong or anything like that.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:20 |
|
I think the Buick would actually do not too bad on the track. It does handle itself very well in sharp corners and is decently quick.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:23 |
|
That’s because auto transmissions are becoming so advanced and capable since they pour all their effort into them while manuals are kind of pushed aside and not given much thought so people don't buy them.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:23 |
|
Burn it to hell. So freaking hideous.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:25 |
|
I think it wouldn’t be too bad.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:25 |

The only auto owners I know are Audi and BMW owners. I’m not sure what the reason behind that is. Lol.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:28 |

Too important to shift their own gears? Kidding aside at least they offer us manual options. Mercedes offers us 1 car with a manual and it’s the base model only.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:43 |
|
Lol. I was thinking it, you typed it. You got me thinking there. I don’t know a single person who drives a Mercedes or colleague or neighbour except a Mercedes Sprinter work van for an upholsterers down my street.
They have a good range of manual to auto on the Mercedes UK website. Stupid 25 year law for you you guys and gals.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:47 |

Only 15 years for us Canadians :) But still wish the import law didn't exist at all.

Sorry mate. Thought you were a little further south than where you are.
I know why the ‘muricans have 25 years, but why does Canada have 15? Is it a similar reason?
![]() 06/11/2015 at 22:49 |
|
You know I’m not entirely sure what the reasoning behind the import law but I assume it’s the same as the US. We just don't have to wait quite as long.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 22:57 |

Daily the Volvo (in Rebel Blue or Silver).
Track the Audi.
Burn all the Buicks. And by burn, I mean recycle them into other uses, because straight-up burning is wasteful.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 22:59 |
|
OP said they're all automatics though.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 23:12 |

That’s news to me - the Regal GS used to be FWD only.

I’m from Europe so.....
DD: Opel Insignia OPC with buick badges
Track: Audi S3
Burn (unfortunately): the Volvo, but keep the seats and make a nice living room
![]() 06/12/2015 at 02:51 |

Easy.
DD the Volvo, because safety!
Track the S3, because duh.
Burn the Regal GS. Nice mechiancals, ugly body.
![]() 06/12/2015 at 08:23 |

this is a no brainer.
DD = Buick
Track = Volvo
Burn = Audi
![]() 06/12/2015 at 08:23 |

the difference between you and me , i shed no tears over burning an Audi.
![]() 06/12/2015 at 09:39 |
|
My bad. Missed that part
DD: Volvo - Comfy
Track: Buick - YOLO
Burn: Audi - There ain’t much firewood in proximity to the track camping area.
![]() 06/12/2015 at 10:27 |
|
Not a huge fan of Audi eh? I like you.
![]() 06/12/2015 at 10:29 |

i work at Audi dealer in parts department.
the amount of crap that goes wrong with them makes me shudder.
they ‘re ok from new till 30K kilometres , then nope.
![]() 06/12/2015 at 10:35 |
|
Is it usually a lot of stupid little parts or do you mostly send out a lot of big components?
![]() 06/13/2015 at 02:10 |
|
mainly smaller things , but we have had to replace a few trannys , a couple of engines , and a few engine rebuilds under warranty.
![]() 06/13/2015 at 06:31 |
|
I figured it would be smaller things. Back when I had my BMW the guys in the shop said they constantly replaced the small parts. Said they only had to replace main components when the small bits weren't fixed right away.

DD: Audi
Track: Volvo
Burn: Buick
